Caspian was born May 15, 2007. He is
strawberry roan colt with four white stockings and a blaze. Caspian is destined
to make his mark in dressage by virtue of his calm disposition, the presence
of his carriage and athletic build, and the grace with which he quietly floats
when he moves. Sired by top performing Dressage sire Farrington, who stands
at Majestic Gaits Farm, out of his noble Winston (Roemer) dam, Kaleidoscope,
Caspian is a true prince.
Caspian has been SOLD. Best wishes to Teresa in Fresno, CA.

Donegal Sue with her days' old foal, KingsLane
KnightStorm

We
thought about all kinds of names that might be suitable for the newly expected
KingsLane Farm foal. This foal is special because he is the first Gypsy
Drum Horse born on our farm, and we have great expectations and plans for
him.
His dam is from the renowned Donegal line of Clydesdales from Canada, and
his sire isTaliesin, an impressive, imported Gypsy Vanner standing at Big
Skye Gypsies in Montana. We needed a name that reflected his noble lineage
and the medieval tales and legends that his name would awaken in our imaginations.
The barn was ready and Sue, with the patience of a saint, waited with us
as she munched away at her hay in her cozy stall. We checked on her several
times nightly. |

And
then came the storm; the storm that raged through our neighborhood, whipping
across the fields, ripping out trees and power lines. Stormy found the right
moment to make his debut! He came into the world to the sounds of wind and
branches snapping, heavy rain pummeling the tin roof, flashes of lightning
outside, and the warm glow of flashlights standing like candles on their
ends, as if forming a ceremonial circle for his birth.
His name, KingsLane KnightStorm, was unequivocably revealed to us on the
morning of April 16, 2007.
