Penny. Penny is fun-loving pony with a can-do attitude. She is feminine
but sure-footed, bold and brave, but very calm; a girl with a plan. Penny
is the belle of the ball at shows and demonstrated it early on by winning
Reserve Champion at her first show. She has lots of miles on the trails
at North Wales and hunted with the Warrenton Hunt for a season before
going home with Taylor, who was searching for her perfect pony. She found
Penny and the rest is best summarized in the recent message we received:
" It's Taylor, Penny's new
owner, I just wanted to say [. . . ] Penny and I have been doing so well,
we have come so far as a team. She has really shown a lot more of her
personality as she starts to trust me more. This summer we did a working
student intership with Kathy Fredrickson out in Middleburg and Penny loved
her huge stall haha. We even jumped around 3'6" a few times! We competed
in all of the pony club rallys this past season and many jumper shows,
hunter shows, combined tests and horse trials always placing in the ribbons.
We ride almost everyday in the summer and a few times during the week
now. She is my best friend and I think she is very happy with us. I attached
some pictures of her playing in the snow and us riding. Taylor ."
Thank you, Taylor,
for the updates on your progress. You and Penny are a great team! Keep
up the good work!
